The Pieterpad [ Peter Trail ] is without doubt the most popular and longest trail in The Netherlands. Also known as the LAW9, The 497km Pieterpad takes you from the northern tip of Holland, starting in the village of Pieterburen, to the St Pieterberg in Maastricht, the southern tip of The Netherlands.

The Pietpad is an easy walk, suitable for most people. The trail is divided into 26 sections, the shortest section being 12km, and the longest being 24km. Most people walk it from North to South, but it can definitely also be walked from South to North.
